Answering both questions, I feel there is a way to combat the boredom of the American community in addition to changing our foreign policy from that of mpp'ing EVERYONE.

1. Games (like FeMU) - I have asked someone to serve as a Secretary of Fun for the eUSA. In addition to the FeMU game (which will continue with Gnilraps as Commissioner - if we get government funding, I want to set up a type of Community Game NIght, where the community can get together to play other games, such as Civ 5).  I'm also toying with an idea that SFP has just begun, a Movie NIght, but I haven't decided on that just yet.

2. War (Let's find a real enemy) - WHo here is tired of pussyfooting around with Spain and other bullshit, weak ass nations. WIth a change in FA, I want the eUSA to find a real enemy, one that will bring us together above our petty differences and bring excitement to our community once again.

This is something you should put before your Congress representatives to bring to Congress.

#1. I like this, as I love other videogames. Unfortunately it might not have too much traction seeing as people need money and interest to buy these games to begin with. Maybe focus it on F2P games like Planetside 2? Just a thought. I'd totally join in if you guys start playing something I have.

#2. You'd need an enemy that comes close to wiping us to put the petty differences behind =P Even then we may still fall and die while yelling at each other over the optimal tax rate. But it's a noble idea nonetheless. Just don't spend all our money XD

#3. This guy. I don't fight man. I politic, I media, I meta. Do something for me mannnggg. The videogame thing is a good start but gimmie something media-licious to sink my teeth into.

Lol! We had Secretary of Fun in Finland way back ago, before I moved to USA.  Who do you think is a worthwhile enemy? My wallet likes busy war though, better to have an open front continuously.

I cannot say specifically who I would really want the enemy to be, but just tossing a name out there of who I think is worthwhile - Hungary comes to mind.

I plan to keep us in some sort of busy war while the foreign policy is being changed and before we pick our worthwhile enemy, however.

Greetings and Salutations, My Fellow Americans:

Before we get started, I welcome you to check out the two hottest forum threads for my Q&A's... the one in the AMP forum and the one in the Fed forum. Check them out and join in. Now, let's talk about foreign policy.

In my opponent's last article, he outlined his plan for foreign policy...

"I do not intend to change that (foreign policy). As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I believe that our foreign affairs are stable, and I intend to further strengthen them."

So basically: Same Ol' Same Ol'.

The Connors Campaign promises something altogether different.

I'm not saying that the day after I am elected we will completely swap sides and attack Serbia. I mean, seriously? That's just stupid. Some people will tell you this, which is their way of trying to get you afraid or to think I am crazy or something, but that just isn't the truth. That's just the same ol' people using the same ol' tactics. Was anything else expected?

"So what are your foreign policy ideas?", you may be asking yourself. Well, to sum it up, the foreign policy I am looking to achieve is simply the removal of the so-called Wild Owl Doctrine. IT is time to re-evaluate our entire foreign policy, making the changes needed... and opening diplomatic talks with both Asteria nations and non-Asteria nations. We would close talks with nations that don't want anything to do with us.

I have a team of Special Ambassadors that will work with Vice President Rainy Sunday and Chief of Staff Senryaku and the rest of the MoFA team that will be the direct lines to certain nations. Each of these Special Ambassadors have been chosen due to thier history, knowledge, and connections in certain nations.

Changing foreign policy will NOT be an over night thing however. It isn't as easy as putting on a new T-shirt. It will require hours and hours of diplomacy between many many nations. In the end, I see a new power bloc emerging, putting the eUSA in the best possible position on the world stage.This does not mean abandoning Pacifica. Our alliance nations will be be brought into these talks as well. In an ideal situation, the end result will be a stronger Pacifica.

It is now time to name the foreign affairs staff:

Secretary of Foreign Affairs
MrCarey: A future President himself, MrCarey has held various positions in recent Cabinets and I have full confidence in his ability to transition to the SoFA position.

Deputies
TheDillPickl: Dill is a multiple time American Congressman and former CP of other nations. He has also served in various other roles of various different governments and his knowledge will be  a valuable asset in foreign affairs.

Aramec: Aramec is a former CP and multiple time Congressman and has worked in foreign affairs in the past, as well. He will be a great help with his knowledge of the game.

Derphoof: Derphoof has served as in the MoFA under a couple of different CPs and brings a broad range of knowledge to the department.

Special Ambassadors
As stated above, these three individuals will be working with the MoFA team and in direct contact with certain nations, of which they have a special relationship, knowledge, and history thereof.

It is time for broad sweeping changes to our foreign affairs policy. The current policy that has been in effect for so long now, the "Wild Owl Doctrine", may be safe, but safe is NOT fun. Instead, it is boring and has made eAmerican players full of apathy. How about we let Plato destroy this game and now assist him with more boredom and apathy. Let's end the same ol' same ol' and start a new era in eAmerican diplomacy!

Greetings and Salutations, My Fellow Americans:

With all my Cabinet announced and my plans for civilian and foreign affairs already published, I bet you are wondering what else I could possibly be coming to you about now. Especially considering that all the party endorsements are done. I mean, I have talked about my plans for a foreign policy change... I have talked about my plans to reinvigorate the community with fun like Game Nights and Movie Nights... I have even talked about my desire to find a worthy enemy for the USA. What more could I possibly say, right?

Well, eAmerica... this isn't about endorsements. I thank the four parties that have, in fact, endorsed me but I want you, the individual player in the eAmerican community to know that I have never backed down form a challenge and won't back down form this one. In fact, I actually challenged Wild Owl to a debate, but he refuses to accept that challenge. Since he claims to be superior to me, what can possibly be the reason to refuse such a  challenge?
My money is on the fact that there is no way to defend the same ol' same ol' way of doing things. After all, there is obviously a large group of people in the community that screams for more fun, something that cannot happen if we continue down the same ol' road we have been for so long now. Instead of movie nights, game nights, and a worthy challenge, we can settle for more of the same ol' fights with Spain and North Korea, right? Sounds like fun. /sarcasm

But I do have one more thing I want to talk to you about, eAmerica... a new Advisory Board I want to start that will have direct insight into the direction of the eUSA Presidency.

eUSA PARTY PRESIDENTS ADVISORY BOARD
This new advisory council will consist of the elected party presidents of the Top Six political parties. It's intended purpose is to get the parties more involved with the day-to-day operations of the nation's Cabinet. Each party president will have Advisory access to the PDB, the subforum that the executive conducts its daily business.

This new Advisory Board will improve communication between the highest level of eAmerican government (Cabinet) with the most local level of government (parties). It will make knowing the plans of the federal government easier to understand at the party level. In addition, it will give the parties a voice in the federal level of government. No longer will there be a communication issue between these crucial levels of government.not only will you know "Why we fight where" instead of "Fight Here", you will know why and how we decided to where to fight. This is inclusion and communication at its finest.
As I stated, this will automatically be open to all the elected party presidents of the Top Six parties, but parties not in the Top Six will also be able to petition the government with a request to be involved in the PPAB. More information on the specifics of that will be released after I am elected and the committee is formed.

So there you have it, eAmerica... the complete plan to change from the same ol' same ol' that has infected the community with boredom and apathy to a new era. Now the choice is left to you, do you want fun and inclusion or boredom and apathy. On the fifth, you decide.
